On November 14th, 2017, in the 9am hour, Drew and Briannah Mcdonald were notified with the terrifying news that their 3rd generation, newly renovated home had gone up into flames from an electrical fire. Sadly, their two dogs were trapped inside and their lives were taken in the fire. Faith, a female 12-year-old Golden Labrador Retriever and Lannah, a female 6-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, will sorely be missed.
The fire grew so quickly that there was no way to make it inside to rescue their precious baby girls or any of their sentiments and belongings.
The last 24 hours have come with pain beyond measure for some losses that are irreplaceable. Briannah and Drew were the best parents those pups could have asked for and the best friends to all of those blessed to have them in their lives.
What can be looked at as a complete tragedy is quickly turning into hope, FAITH and love for Briannah and Drew as their neighbors, friends and family have gathered, donated and supported as much as they can.
We welcome all our friends, family and community members to contribute a donation to these wonderful people in their time of grief and need. All donations will go towards everything from toiletries to clothing to rebuilding their new home.
Our love and prayers are with our dear friends at this time. We thank everyone for their loyalty, love and compassion during this unthinkable tragedy.
