BACK:N:BLACK Plays Back in Black!
As you might know, the best-selling album of all time, AC/DC’s Back in Black turns 40 this year. And our band BACK:N:BLACK is also turning 10 years old! To celebrate, we planned some very special concerts this year with you, including playing the entire Back in Black album live.
Unfortunately, the Coronavirus pandemic has tried its best to smash our plans.
As you know, just about every one of our concerts is either rescheduled or cancelled this year. Like all bands, this crisis is hitting us hard. Our singer Hell-ena is in northern Italy; Claire on guitar is in London, Angie is in Florida, and we are in Switzerland.
Just like you, we are all on lock down, doing our best to stay safe. But instead of hoarding toilet paper and crying, we’ve decided to put all this time to good use and pay tribute to one of the best albums ever recorded! From the first track to the last, we want to record the whole Back in Black album unplugged, BACK:N:BLACK style. This means:

· "Back in Black"
· "You Shook Me All Night Long"

Plus, we plan to add a special surprise – See the “Right out of Controller” section!
This will be a very special unplugged album just for you guys who have been with us over the past decade. And there's no question, this is gonna be a lot more work than you might think! The cool thing is, Randy who did all of our past DVD and CDs is already committed 1000%, so you know its gonna rock! But like the Highway to Hull project, we want to be sure enough want this, before we start talking about printing discs, covers, etc.
We’ve always dreamed of making an unplugged album. And this is the best album in the world. Let’s make this thing together and show Corona who’s boss! 40 Years of AC/DC's Back in Black... 10 Years of BACK:N:BLACK... Let's make this happen! Hail hail 2020 for the good times!
HOW DO I HELP?
First, you can help by staying safe, washing your hands and thinking of others! After that, um, you can send us some money! :D :D
Those who donate more are super awesome AND GET FREE STUFF! Early bird contributors who contribute before we finish the editing will receive different stuff! There are 4 different levels, depending on how big your balls (or wallet) are:

2. ROLLER
Contribute CHF35 (£30, EUR33, US$36), and you’ll get:

3. RIGHT OUT OF CONTROLLER

4. ROCK N ROLL DREAM
There’s also another reason for this project. As you may know, the pandemic is hitting musicians, agents, venues—everyone involved in the music industry—very hard all over the world. Especially for mall bands like us, there is little safety net for this. With most concerts cancelled this year, we at BACK:N:BLACK will not have the income from concerts we desperately needed to cover losses from jerks who did not pay correctly for shows last year (i.e., Rock Pod Slovakia and Mansfield Mens Working Club). Those who follow us online may know how badly this has hit the band. WHAT IF WE DON'T REACH THE GOAL?
We're going to start right away, no matter what, because we aren't doing this to make money (First recording is next weekend, 28 March!). It's all about fun and seeing what we can all do to make a dream come true—for all of us as part of the AC/DC and BACK:N:BLACK Family. From there, we'll have to see how things go. Of course, everyone who supports will be kept in the loop as we progress, so you'll be able to follow the production as we go.
Hopefully we'll all pull together and make it work! This is a tough time for all of us, and we hope to be able to play for you next year.
