Broadway's Greatest Pairings

Broadway’s Greatest Pairings is an evening of music that will feature a wide array of musical masterpieces from popular Broadway shows. Several of the songs are the product of famous writing duos, while others are crowd-pleasing duets. Songs will be performed by local actors who have previously appeared at Twin City Stage (TCS) joined by current or former members of UNCSA, all accompanied by a live twelve-piece band. The evening's selections will span the decades, ranging from new hits, such as “Dear Theodosia” from Hamilton, to classics such as “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered” from Pal Joey, and “If I Loved You” from Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel.

The evening is being used as a fundraiser for Twin City Stage.  We are looking to raise $1,100 in advance of the performance to hire professional musicians to play for this performance.  We have a matching grant to help pay for the band, so every dollar you donate will give two dollars to the project.  This means that if 55 people can donate $20 we have met our goal!  The money raised will only be used to pay for the band; any extra funds raised will be donated to Twin City Stage to help with their future seasons. 

Any donation, no matter how large or small, will be greatly appreciated.  The efforts of volunteers are a huge part of Twin City Stage Productions and this one is no different.  All of the actors, the musical director, and many people helping to bring this together behind the scenes are all donating their time.  Even the venue is being donated to benefit TCS.  But, one of the ways that TCS strives to bring the best possible performances to our community is through the use of professional musicians.  Helping us to raise the money we need to hire the band will mean a great deal to us and provide the best possible performance for you, the members of our community!
