Help Us Feed, Clothe, & Gift The Less Fortunate!

My name is Fredrick Claxton, President of Truckers Feeding The Homeless. We are raising funds to feed, clothe, and gift the less fortunate in Baltimore September 2022. Truckers Feeding The Homeless started 3 years ago. It started with just a few of us truckers from different parts of the US, to a group now made up of more than just truckers. Every year we vote on a target city, as we will visit the elected city and do our part in helping others. 2022 Baltimore has been elected. We will be there in September and encourage anyone and everyone to come out and join us.

 

We felt a strong need to revisit the idea of Feeding Baltimore. In 2019, TFTH elected Baltimore for a 2020 feeding, however because of state mandates, authorities, and other challenges as a result of the pandemic, we all thought it best to cancel for the safety and protection of everyone. Instead of forgetting about Baltimore and just moving on, a member of TFTH and our brother, David Smith, (from Arkansas) made it a point that he saw it as a responsibility to mission Baltimore before we move on.

All funds are raised for everything and anything needed to feed the less fortunate men, women, and children living on the streets, under bridges, in homeless camps, behind dumpsters, tents, shelters, etc. It goes to the food purchase which an entire meal that we create, cook, and put together from our hearts to theirs. 2 drinks, 2 meats, 2-3 sides, a side salad separately packaged and also made by us, a cookie, cake, or chips for desert, condiments, eating utensils, and napkins. All supplies needed to cook the plates, for example, packaging, the bags, the small containers for the condiments, any pots or pans we do not already own to help cook the food, rental Vans to carry the group, the food, the clothes, and gifts, etc. The more support we receive gives us the capacity to do more.  So much more.  

We encourage everyone and anyone to come out and join us. We invite all to come and help out. This year the feeding will be held Sept 9th - Sept 11th.  Will we prep on Friday Sept. 9th.  We will Feed on Saturday Sept. 10th.  We will reflect on Sunday Sept. 11th.  If anyone has any questions, concerns, ideas they would like to share with us, if you would like to join us, please do not hesitate to email us at:
