Joey Romero's Cancer Treatments

On Feb. 25th 2014 Joey complained of knee pain so we took him to Clovis Community E.R. They did a MRI on him and we received the devastating news. Joey was diagnosed with aggresive Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) at the age of 17. Within 24 hours we were flown to UCSF. Since then he has had numerious surgeries, on his knee,spine, and lungs. He is still receiving chemotherapy and getting ready to start radiation. They let Joey come home but we have to take him to UCSF every month for 7-10 days for his treatments. At this point we know this will continue through next Spring. We are keeping up the fight but expenses are overwhelming. Some of his medicines are not covered and the travel costs are very expensive. We have realized that the expenses are getting to be too much for us to handle on our own. So any donations would be greatly appreciated.
