To all who have given to this fund, we are currently requesting a withdrawal from the fund. The proceeds will go to Doug, one of our own employees at Bluewater. Doug rented a bottom floor apartment and lost everything. He needs money to replace his sofa, bed and mattresses as well as other household items.
Hello friends…my name is Debi Tucker, I own in Bluewater Key RV Resort in Key West at mile marker 14.5. Myself and other Bluewater Key RV Resort owners have come together to create this GoFundMe page account. Now that we are 2 weeks post Irma, there is still MUCH needed help for the locals in and around our community in the lower Keys.
Monroe County Officials and the multitude of volunteers have done an amazing job getting our electricity and water back to most but not all homes and businesses. We are eternally grateful for their help and dedication.
However, there is a monetary need, and that’s what brings us here today. We have employees and vendors who have experienced complete personal property loss and their personal effects completely gone..
We can not express our sincere appreciation for these individuals and what they mean to our ownership family. Most are in the park on a daily basis making our beautiful park into the paradise that we truely believe that it is.
Let us come together and reach out to those in need with a measurable amount of money. Any amount donated is and will be appreciated. Let our actions speak louder than our words. There but by the Grace of God could go I. Let’s be a blessing where a blessing is needed!
Once we have reached our goal and dispersed the funds, I will post a list of all who received our generous donations. 100% of these funds will go to the people in need.
