<div>Many of you know or have heard stories about <strong>Blue</strong>. Unfortunately, at the vet (Companion Animal Veterinarian Clinic) visit on 10/1/2025, he had a lump checked out. Dr. Lee took a further look at it and decided to do an FNA, which is a small poke to get a sample of the cells inside the lump. Things looked OK in the moment, but she had to stain it overnight and would call me the next day (Thursday) with the results.

<div>Unfortunately, this mass/lump was not like the one on his neck. This time, <strong>he has a sarcoma</strong>. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that originates in the connective tissues of dogs. The next step in his treatment is he needs surgery to remove the lump/mass.  <strong>Dr Lee would like to do surgery ASAP [October 14th] so the cancer doesn't spread to his knee.</strong> His prognosis is very good if he gets the surgery done quickly. He will have a rough couple of days but is expected to be able to have a full recovery afterward. They will give him pain medicine to get him through those few rough days.

<div>The estimate for this surgery is $1,400.00. Plus a $100.00 deposit to schedule the surgery.
