Blue Sky Hotel Petra is a family owned hotel that opened in 1993, to offer an authentic, affordable and memorable Greek Island Holiday experience. We have been able to weather several economic impacts including the Greek financial crisis, but the latest Corona virus pandemic has brought us to the brink.
Our aim is to continue to deliver this Greek island experience into the future and we are seeking your help to make this possible.
The Vontelas Family began the Blue Sky Hotel as a place that families and guests, local and international could experience the genuine warmth of Greek family hospitality. The Blue Sky Hotel, became an integral part of the local community, creating employment opportunities and other positive flow on effects for local businesses (cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, etc) in our village.
Our village of Petra is a very special place, considered by many of our guests and friends as “our happy place”. A place girthed by sea and nestled in a beautiful valley, with spectacular sunsets over beautiful blue seas. Sunsets, blue seas and Greek family hospitality that we hope to be able to offer our guest and friends again, once this pandemic is over.
As a privately owned independent family business, we seek your support in raising funds to meet our expense and debt obligations resulting from a loss of revenue for the 2020 tourist season.
