Help my service/support pet please

Blossom has gone blind over the last few months. She has mature, quickly developed cataracts in both eyes. Blossom has always been a special dog....she was bought by a local rescue from a puppy mill dog auction. Mills bring in dogs that they no longer want or don't think will be of any use to them. If they are not rescued, they are often killed and disgarded. Thank God rescues go in to these things to help. She was purchased for a mere $25. That's all she was worth to this mill. It's sickening. I had volunteered for this rescue and took her as a foster. Unfortunately this rescue is no longer operating, otherwise i would be seeking any help i could from them. Rescues often operate with very little money and rely on donations, so even if it was still operating, any help for somethimg like this would be dependant upon the kindness of animal lovers willing to help.
She was terrified...she has spent the first few years of her life living in a cage, wasn't socialized, wasn't potty trained and basically hadn't been loved before. I wanted to show her what love was and find her a great home. I realized soon that Blossom would be my dog. She has so many issues related to her fear and anxiety. She thrives at home with me, but otherwise is paralyzed by fear. Even going outside to potty is an ordeal, everyday, several times a day.
She is only 8 years old, which for a small dog is often only middle aged. She is adapting some to her sudden loss of vision, but it is causing her even more anxiety than her poor soul already has. Her condition can be corrected with surgery at the UW Vet School. Ideally the veterinarian wants to do the procedure now as further inflammation may make it so she is no longer a candidate. I didn't schedule the surgery right away because I have no funds to do it now. I am not in the position to get any credit funds to use, if I was I would do that in a heart beat. I scheduled for about 4 months out to give myself some time to work my 2 jobs and save as much as I possibly can. I hope that it's not too late at that point, but I don't have any other options. This isn't life threatening. But it significantly impacts her quality of life, especially with all of the issues she already has. I just can't let her eyes go completely to the point where nothing can be done to help her without at least trying. I hope to have many years with this little girl, and I want her to have the best life possible now after a really rough start. She is a registered service/support companion animal for me for depression, anxiety and ptsd. She helps me immensely.
The total cost of the surgery is about $3000. I know that is a lot to ask, any help towards that goal would help immensely.
I have seen many campaigns for animals. Anyone that knows me knows my love for animals. I have worked in clinics, emergency services and rescues for 20 years. They are truly my passion. I donate to campaigns for pets that come my whenever I have been able. If I was not in the place to help, I forwarded along so that other people could see the story. My hopes are that if my friends are able to help that they just forward as far and wide as they can.
Blossom is like a child to me and I want the best possible life for her.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you in advance for helping if you can, and forwarding along to others. She is such a sweet, grateful girl....she would give each and every one of you tons of kisses and cuddles. ♡♡♡
