<div>BloomBars has been a community institution for Columbia Heights, Washington, DC, and beyond for the last 15 years. Whether it's giving artists and creatives a platform to grow and share their gifts, providing children and families with early-childhood-development programs, or community members with a safe, alcohol-free space to connect across our many divides, BloomBars has been a constant.

<div>As you may have noticed on our socials, we’ve opened our doors again and have been building steam toward our rebirth these last few months. From BloomBars Day at the National Cherry Blossom Festival to Columbia Heights Day to monthly family entertainment night at the Columbia Heights Rec. Center, to special events, to the gradual return of regular programs like weekly Samba classes for kids and adults, yoga, and monthly Harambee with Baba Ras D, and of course, our reBloom Donation marketplace (please and thank you to those who donated items or plan to). And there’s more in store, but we're far from being out of the woods. The first step has been to reimagine ourselves in this new paradigm and how that translates into our sustainability. Shout out to District Bridges for helping us develop that plan. But for us to continue to move forward, we need a BIG infusion of your support to cover things like property taxes if we are to keep our doors open. In these challenging times, our mission is more relevant now than ever. Please donate NOW, spread the word, and keep BloomBars blooming!

<div>BloomBars' works to inspire compassionate, creative and purposeful communities through the arts. Our goal is to foster personal and collective growth and cultivate a legion of artists to be the catalyst for community transformation in Washington, DC and beyond. We offer a safe space for creative expression, community building, wellness, entertainment and anything that nurtures meaningful human connections and motivates people to service. We redefine the perception of a bar by providing opportunities for diverse, multi-lingual, multi-generational communities to gather in a culturally rich and alcohol-free environment. We are 100% donation-driven, volunteer-run and love-fueled.
