Blood Transfusion for Blackie

This is an emergency fundraiser, to save my beloved ESA cat (the love of my life), Blackie.
Many of you have met Blackie and have experienced how special of a cat he is - unlike any of I’ve ever known - “America’s Favorite Cat,” as he has been jokingly called.
Unfortunately, on Friday Blackie showed signs of a UTI, something he has had before, so I rushed him to the Emergency Pet Hospital, where they determined he had no urinary blockage and was therefore “stable” enough to remain in the waiting room for 3 hours...as his temperature increased to 105. Fed up, I left and went to the next nearest pet hospital, where he had a urinalysis with terrifying results - including high bilirubin levels; something almost unheard of in cats. In addition to being jaundiced and dehydrated, they told me Blackie was suffering an anemic attack as his body was attacking its own red blood count.
In order to save Blackie’s life, he needs an emergency blood transfusion and thorough treatment that can only be offered by animal hospitals (who have feline blood on hand). The cost of the necessary transfusion + hospitalization is $3000, which I do not have to my name (as I am unemployed at the moment, as I’ve been taking care of my own health).
But...I just can’t give up on Blackie. He is the light of my life and the best thing that ever happened to me. Anyone who knows me knows how true this is, and how precious he is to me - and to many others.
So, I am humbly asking my friends and loved ones for help: by donating however little or lot you can spare to the cause of saving Blackie’s life, I cannot tell you how much you will be impacting MY life. I am without words for my gratitude for any penny you contribute, and for all loving support through this super painful moment.
