Block9 and The Downlow Radio are raising money for good causes including Runnymede Trust and Medecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders).
1. FILM
Tuesday 23rd June
Block9 released MEAT RACK, a short FILM directed by Harry Lawson. Filmed at Glastonbury Festival in 2017, Meat Rack is Harry's personal tribute to a cultural phenomenon. Taking us from green field to dance floor, from build crew to muscle boys, and drawing on some of the more surreal and abstract traditions of arthouse cinema. The result is an intimate, sometimes unsettling portrait that beautifully captures the fleeting nature of Glastonbury’s most notorious nightspot.

2. LIVE STREAM
Saturday 27th June
Block9 hosted a LIVE STREAM from their workshop, with Norman Jay MBE (Maceo’s), DJ Paulette (The NYC Downlow), Heidi (Genosys) & Batu (IICON) representing each of the four Block9: Glastonbury 2020 venues. This Live Stream event was in association with DJ Mag.

3. MUSIC
June/July
Block9 released a selection of live DJ mixes from 12 years of Block9 at Glastonbury Festival, including legendary recordings from underground heavyweights across all Block9 venues; The NYC Downlow, Genosys, IICON and London Underground. 30 DJ mixes featuring artists such as The Blessed Madonna, Pearson Sound, Hot Chip, Neneh Cherry, Midland, Harry Romero and more!

Block9 also released 3 brand new mixes for three of their venues; Honey Dijon (The NYC Downlow), Cinthie (Genosys) & Block9 (IICON). Listen via Block9 Soundcloud.
