Banana Bread for a Cause is a donation based initiative that I came up with to advocate for Black Lives Matter.
With the use of my cooking skills through candid kilos kitchen (click here) and a good friend back home in NYC, I am looking to actively make change.
For as little as $1, I will bake you a loaf of banana bread, which is available to ship or for local pick up in San Antonio, TX.
All profits will be donated to Kingsley ( click here to view his IG ) who has been actively protesting and ensuring the health, wellbeing, and safety of all protestors. Please see his Instagram as he posts daily. He has been providing emergency and unlawful contact information, food and water, and necessities such as ponchos - all out of his own pocket!
While I could donate money to bigger funds such as BLM and NAACP, I’d rather actively participate to make change, and funnel the money through someone who day in and day out has been making a difference throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan.
