Blindsided By Osteomyelitis

Donation protected
This is a very humbling thing to do but the reality it is something I need to do and that is ask for help.  In March of this year I was rushed to the ER septic and dying. I underwent 8 hours of surgery losing my left leg above the knee.  The diagnosis was that I had a disease called Osteomyelitis which I was completely unaware. It was related to a B12 deficiency and I was unaware of that either or when it started but it started to make sense as over the last 3 years I was constantly devoid of energy and always miserable from not being able to function at a high level which I contributed to getting older. I went through a few jobs and fell behind on bills but always I was able to bounce back and made payment arrangements with local utilities and with the mortgage company.  During my hospital stay and my move to the rehab floor I was told I could not go home until there were handicap ramps in my house for me to get around.  We spent thousands on ramps and on changes to our home to make it handicap accessible (i.e concrete work, ramps, transfer chair for showering, toilets, showers modified, adding a trailer and hitch to my car for my wheelchair and scooter, etc.). Already being on a budget the payment agreements I had went into default while putting the money into the house to make it handicap accessible, our car recently giving us problems and trying to keep the water running and lights on while keeping food on the table has been a never ending game of catch up and an ungodly deficit.  I'm usually the person reaching out to help others so this has been a very difficult thing to do but unfortunately I am asking for help this time for myself and my family.  Thank you in advance and even a prayer helps.
