<div>Teteringen bestond vorig jaar 750 jaar, en deze unieke mijlpaal willen we niet ongezien voorbij laten gaan. Als afsluiting van dit bijzondere jubileum probeert de Dorpsraad Teteringen een muurschildering op de blinde muur van het gezondheidscentrum aan het Willem Alexander park te realiseren, waarin de rijke geschiedenis van onze gemeenschap wordt vastgelegd.

<div>Samen met Stichting Blind Wall Gallery uit Breda bepalen onze inwoners het thema en de sfeer van het kunstwerk. Daarna brengt een kunstenaar onze ideeën tot leven en zorgen we voor een prachtige toevoeging aan ons dorp. Bij de foto's twee gerealiseerde voorbeelden van een blind wall schildering in Breda.

<div>De totale kosten bedragen ongeveer €16.580. Dankzij subsidies van de gemeente (€5.105) en de Postcode Loterij Buurtfonds (€ 5.000) kunnen we een groot deel financieren. Maar om dit kunstwerk echt tot stand te brengen, vragen we de Teteringse gemeenschap om zelf bij te dragen. We hopen dat elke inwoner een steentje wil bijdragen—voor slechts € 1 per persoon kunnen we samen dit icoon realiseren.
