<div>My beloved hometown of Balaclava, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, has been catastrophically damaged by Hurricane Melissa. The devastation is widespread and immediate. Roads and critical bridges have been destroyed, leaving countless families stranded, homeless, and facing dire shortages of basic human necessities:
