Blessing's Journey to the Solomon Islands

Mick and Lyn Tomkins from Perth Western Australia bought the sailing catamaran Blessing to sail from Perth to the Solomon Islands so we can provide safe transport and practical support to Solomon Islands Translation Advisory Group (SITAG); Faith Comes by Hearing and Bibleway Honiara Church Outreach teams.
The funds raised are being used to support the vessel and crew in reaching the Island groups covering expenses such as fuel, oils, filters, repairs, victualling, visas, fees and many other associated costs.
While journeying to the outer islands we also hope to develop strong relationships with the islanders and their chiefs in order to identify their more practical needs. Once we understand these needs we plan to offer the opportunity for like-minded people to come and join us aboard the yacht 'Blessing' to do short practical outreach trips.
