Blessings for Brice

Hello Friends.... Brice Conradsen has always held a special place in my heart. He was my sons best friend in the 3rd grade and spent many hours in our home.
Brice suffered a seizure while visiting family in Oregon on July 20st, this year. Diagnosed with a nickel sized brain tumor on his right frontal lobe, Brice underwent surgery the following day. The surgery went well, the surgeon in Portland was able to remove 95 % of the tumor and initially the tumor was reported to be a Grade 2. However, last Monday Brice was seen at U.C. Medical Center San Francisco, follow up procedures have revealed the tumor is a Grad 3-4, Glioblastoma, and is VERY serious. The medical team at U.C., "the best of the best", want to perform additional surgery this coming Wednesday to remove the remaining tumor tissue. This creative, bright, articulate young man, has a long road ahead, will undergo chemo and radiation, to what extent is not yet know. It is likely Brice will miss some if not much of his senior year, a time that should be fun filled as one looks to the future. Medical care at this level is astronomical. Needless to say this is a very difficult time for Chris, Brice, Kevin, his brother, and the entire family. Chris is the kind of guy who is "always there “ for his friends, generous to a fault. I have grown to love Chris like a brother through friends and being a co-worker in the Dept. of Corrections. Let’s show him we are there for him too! Please give what you can, any amount is appreciated beyond what any “Thank you “can convey.
FYI. All the money raised is going to pay the ongoing 20% of the medical bills that the insurance doesn't pay. Brice has now had 2 surgerys and is ready for chemo and radiation which will be 5 times a week for six weeks.
