Thank you for your interest in helping Gaby. We are Steve and Sandi Youngren and we have worked with Gabriela Puente for several years with Compassion Connection. She is as a daughter to us. Gaby has given her life to serve God and help others. Now we have an opportunity to help Gaby. At only 27 years old, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Her Ecuadorian health insurance will not cover the expense of being treated by specialists in Ecuador. Her family will have to pay cash for treatment and care as it is rendered (there are not usually medical payment plans).

We all want the very best care in Ecuador for Gaby! We want her family to not worry about finances during this heartbreaking time. We are asking all who know and love this vivacious young woman (and anyone who has only heard about her) to surround her with love and care, to PRAY her through this, and to give generously and sacrificially to her well-being.

We are based in Idaho and are collecting these funds into a private account where every dollar (minus the fee gofundme requires) will be transferred weekly to Gaby’s personal account in Ecuador. Join us in making this heavy journey a little lighter by meeting her urgent financial needs.

We ask that you give her and her family privacy at this time and leave your comments and encouragments here instead of her being overwhelmed with messages on her phone. Gaby ha entregado su vida para servir a Dios y ayudar a los demás. Ahora tenemos la oportunidad de ayudar a Gaby. A la temprana edad de 27 años, ha sido diagnosticada con cáncer de mama en etapa 3.
