Bob and Bev Blenner-Hassett have been part of the Pender community for many years, and have helped many people. Now it's our turn to help them for they have lost everything in the fire that destroyed their home.
Bob and Bev got out with only their nightclothes. I have this info from their Son, Lorne:
"The house is a total loss right to the ground. They awoke to a large bang got up to check and smoke was already pouring up the stairs into their bedroom. They didn't have any time to grab anything.. .... Can't drive, no car keys or license. No wallet can't buy anything. Can't fix anything, no tools. I thank God they are safe."
