Blaze the Doberman`s Cancer fund

I'm trying to raise funds to help my beloved companion Blaze overcome a recent diagnosis of cancer. Blaze is a 4 year old fawn Doberman and he has been my best friend and by my side since he was 8 weeks old.

I noticed a large growth in his mouth about a month ago and took him to Livingston Veterinarian. He had surgery and the growth was removed, but one of the vets did not like the looks of it so I had them send it out for a biopsy.

We were all hoping it was benign but the vet called me and told me he has a aggresive form of cancer. Soft tissue sarcoma or melanoma. She informed me his only options would be chemotherapy or radiation treatment. There are tests he needs to determine exactly what he has so they know the proper protocols to use.

I am on permanent disability and as such, a fixed income that barely covers my monthly bills.
I have exhausted what little savings I had and sold my guitar,  and other musical gear to fund this so far but am just about out of money.
If it were me and dealing with cancer it would be different. But he is an innocent dog that does not deserve this(no one or living thing does).
He is my best, and sometimes only friend and I will do whatever I can to prolong his life as long as it is a quality life.
I`m not sure what this will cost because I don`t know what line of treatment will be recommended/necessary(but I expect at least a few thousand) but any more than $100 or so and it`s out of reach for me. I have nothing left to sell and no way to generate any more income so as much as it pains me to ask for help, I am putting pride and embarrasment aside and asking.
