Blasian March proudly presents its FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY FREE BOOK FAIR!
On April 12, 1-5 PM at Immigrant Social Services, 137 Henry Street New York NY 10038, Blasian March offers another year of free books from Black, Asian, and Blasian authors! This year's theme is Read To Resist. Across the country, book bans, threats to education, and more federal policies continue to cover up truth about this country's dark and colonial history. Now in it's fifth year of organizing, the Blasian March will distribute free books that tell our truths, intersectional experiences, and ideas for liberation. All of this aims to build solidarity through storytelling.

What To Expect:
- Free books written by Black, Asian, and Blasian authors for all ages and of all genres! In acknowledgement of Black and Asian mixed race experiences, and in solidarity with other communities impacted by U.S. imperialism on this stolen land, we also include select Pasifika, Turtle Island, and Latine literature via our book budget and donations.
- Performances! We host an an entire hour of Black, Asian, and Blasian performing artists to celebrate our cultures.
- Writing In Solidarity Panel! This panel features Black, Asian, and Blasian writers who will discuss how we build solidarity through writing.
- Community Resources! Local Black- and Asian-led community organizations will be there all day to provide free swag such as contraception, self-care items, period care, food, and voter registration.
