Blandford Stewart - Recovery

Hello my name is Lynette Braun and I am a friend of Blandford Stewart's. He is a huge part of the racetrack family in Grande Prairie and Lethbridge.
On October 6th, 2020 Blandford was injured at the Lethbridge Racetrack when a horse fell on top of him during morning training. He was taken to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary for surgery to repair a broken pelvis. Surgery was successful but it will be a long recovery process for Blandford and we would like to help raise funds to alleviate any financial stress for Blandford while he concentrates on his recovery.
Blandford is one of the hardest working jockeys on the B Community Tracks in Lethbridge and Grande Prairie. He is always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he can. He will have a long winter ahead of rest and rehabilitation here in Canada and may not make it back to see his family in Jamaica anytime in the near future.
The funds will help cover loss of income, living expenses, insurance and medical fees.
