The Blain Morrison Alves Scholarship & Grant Fund

My husband Chris and I, along with our daughter Madison, have created this scholarship in honor of our 16 year old son who died tragically on May 18, 2020

Blain was a three sport athlete who was known for his good nature, his wit, his athleticism and his infectious smile.

So many people have shown their love and support for Blain and our family by giving funds to create this scholarship; this is how we would like to pay it forward.

Our ideas for this fund are to grant scholarships to male or female athletes who have played any sport and are going to attend college or trade school.

For the first few years, we would like to grant scholarships to any male athletes that played alongside Blain at any point in his life.

Whether it be T-Ball, Majors baseball, Bluewave basketball, Raiders football, or high school, it can be any team Blain was a part of.

Also, any female or male athletes playing any sport who was a part of Blain’s elementary or high school life can apply.

Blain’s love for sports is the inspiration behind this scholarship.
