Our initiative is a collective of women who represent a wide range of views, skills, education and experiences. Unable to find safe spaces to explore what it means to be a black woman at Concordia . This community centers black women unique experiences navigating predominantly white university spaces.
What does it mean to be black? A woman? In university? There are layers of privilege and oppression that ties our experiences and yet our narratives are often mistaken as a monolith.
In order to amplify our unique experiences we are creating a digital community. A place to come together and start figuring out best ways to collectively heal & support from the trauma of racism.
We need your help. We cannot do this alone.
