TICKET DISTRIBUTION PROCESS
The Omaha Star will give tickets to 25 youth, ages 13-18, on Saturday, February 10, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis at the Omaha Star office, 2216 N. 24th St. Only one ticket per youth will be given.
Youth 13-16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is willing to take them to the Marcus Majestic Cinema, 14304 W. Maple Road, by 9:30 a.m. and pick them up from the theater at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17. Youth 17-18 must provide a student I.D. There will not be seats available for parents or guardians in the three auditoriums the Omaha Star has reserved.
However, there will be adults and Omaha Police Department personnel chaperoning the event.
Our children deserve to believe that they can save the world, go on wild adventures or accomplish the impossible. They also deserve to see super heroes who look like them. We are now challenging you to donate to our GoFundMe effort to buy tickets to see the next Marvel film to grace our theaters. The funds will also be use to purchase snacks, movie posters and door prizes.
Please make your donation before February 10th.

15 Chaperone Tickets - 90.00
Student Snacks - popcorn, drink & candy - 2,470.00
Chaperone Snacks- popcorn & drink - 161.00
Movie posters/door prizes - 1,139.00
This campaign is run by Frankie Williams, Deb Shaw and Phyllis Hicks, all are employees of the Omaha Star. Frankie is the mastermind of the event, Deb manages social media and Phyllis is the managing editor, and Phyllis will be the one handling all the donations raised on this campaign.
Funds exceeding our goal will be donated to the Mildred D. Brown Memorial Study Center.
