We're calling on you to come together as PwC San Francisco takes on the #blackpantherchallenge. All across the US, local communities have taken on the challenge by sponsoring movie tickets for local disadvantaged youth to see Black Panther. This upcoming superhero film is already being called one of the best Marvel movies to date and an important stride forward in diversifying the Marvel universe. It embodies what it means to be ColorBrave as it offers an unapologetically Black superhero that youth can look up to and learn from.
We think San Francisco youth deserve to see this hero on the big screen, so we partnered with the Boys & Girls Club/First Tee of San Francisco and other youth organizations with the goal of raising funds to do just that. Help us make sure these youth are a part of this pivotal moment, so they can see superheroes that look just like them! Starting small, our goal is to send 100 students to see 'Black Panther' on March 17th in San Francisco.
There is an opportunity gap in the US that exists in schools and on the big screen. Partner with the Boys & Girls Club to provide the opportunity of inspiration to the younger generation by sponsoring a ticket for a student to go see Black Panther. Be a hero and help close the opportunity gap for low-income students who otherwise might not be able to watch this upcoming movie that sits at the intersection of race and entertainment. This movie is important in so many ways, we're calling on you to please help the underprivileged youth in our own community see this move. Sometimes being a hero doesn't have to look like tight underwear and a cape, it can look like you!
