Black Lives Matter to the Gaming Community

We are heartbroken and appalled by the horrific racism and unspeakable violence that underscores the Black community’s lived experience in the United States. The systemic racism, unchecked violence, and brutality writ large on our nation’s stage in the past week has only served to shed a light on the reality of what the Black community has been struggling with every day.
We stand with the Black members of our community to say: Black Lives Matter.
The Black community deserves to be treated with the same humanity and dignity as anyone else; they deserve to be seen as equals; they deserve to exercise their unalienable constitutional rights. Most importantly: they deserve to be alive.
More than ever, it is important for us to speak out against injustice to demand action and change. It is important for us to join the fight for equality and support all those who are currently exercising their First Amendment rights to peaceful protest.
We cannot allow racial injustice and violence to continue unabated and without protest. We cannot stand by silently while Black members of our team and community live in constant fear of being falsely arrested, imprisoned, and murdered by their own government for the “crime” of being born Black.
We will be donating 5% of all net profits in the month of June 2020 to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. We will be matching up to $5,000 in donations from this GoFundMe.
