Help Black Diaries Publish Children's Book

Representation matters! Black children need to see positive images of themselves, which is why Black Diaries is initiating a fundraising effort to support this cause. Our next project is another children's book, which shares the beauty of being a Black child.
In 2017 we published our first book, "Yoruba Mythology Coloring Book: The Gods and Goddesses of Yorubaland" for children to see Black Gods and Goddesses in all their beauty and might. Our last book was fully funded by our Black Diaries organization. Unfortunately, due to covid-19 this is not possible. We have been negatively impacted financially, which is why we need your help in our efforts to cover operational costs. Now we are ready to release our next Black children's tool. Why call this a tool? Because this book will teach Black children to LOVE themselves from their kinky hair to their beautiful Black skin.
Funds will pay for publishing fees, including illustration and marketing costs. Let’s support our Black youth together and empower our communities.
During our current political climate where racism is rampant, it is important that we remind our Black boys and girls how valuable they are to this world. Please donate and share to Black owned businesses, whether ours or others. Your support is appreciated.
