Black Box Theater for Jacksonville FINALLY!

It's finally time! We've been trying to open a black box theater here for YEARS! After having multiple buildings fall through for various reasons, we contacted a contractor and decided, you know what? Why don't we use the space we have? That's right. Our studio space will be turned into a small black box theater! This will directly benefit Jacksonville in so many ways including allowing us to offer MORE classes, MORE shows and another venue that YOU will be able to rent for your small events. That also means we can accept more students in our programs because we will have the space.
We are looking to get this done in February! I know, I know. That's right around the corner but we have a show coming up in March so there's no time like the present.
I know what you are thinking. $15,000 is a lot of money. This is true. However, every penny is going to the construction of this theater.
We need to knock out walls, put down new flooring, paint everything black, get curtains for our huge windows and get lighting and sound.
We know that our community can help us with that. For instance, we have 1, 716 people following us on Facebook. If each follower gave us only $10.00, we would have $17, 160! I KNOW we can do that! If you can give more, that's awesome! Here are some incentives to get you started:

Your support would not only mean so much to me but to my company members as well as my current students and actors. Especially my kids. They love being here and creating and learning and we want to be able to continue to foster that here in Jacksonville. There's no other community theatre like ours here. When we do stuff, we do it BIG so this is no different. Our military family often tells us they love when they find us. We have a lot of active duty and vets who participate in our shows as well as their children. They get to come here and be someone else which is therapeutic for them. We also work with the schools when they need us. I personally worked with 2 high schools for about 9 years, volunteering my time and resources and now I am focusing on my own theater.
To say I would be forever grateful is an understatement. We have been in business here for 9 years as of Jan. 12th. Can you believe it? I think we can both agree that this is long overdue.
You are my people. I know you will help us get this done. It's for the betterment of our community and our city.
