FUNERAL EXPENSES- Earnest Jones

Dear Friends and Family:
Words seem so inadequate as I endeavor to express gratitude for your outpouring of love and support during the Organ Donation and Fundraising Campaign for my brother, Earnest E. Jones, Jr. (June). Your prayers and generosity touched our hearts, stirred heaven's atmosphere, and blessed June and Serenia tremendously.
It is with a grieving heart that I inform you of June's passing. At 5:27 PM today, June closed his eyes in death, as approximately 50 friends and family members were on hand to bear the horrific news of his departure. We were there for a visit~ not to say good-bye. So unexpected. The pictures below were taken as we were awaiting an opportunity to return to his room, following what we considered a routine procedure. Thus the smiles. Boy, were we wrong!!! June's wife, Serenia, is a devastated widow who must now walk through life without the man with whom she has shared life for 42 years. And to further exacerbate her pain, there is no insurance policy to underwrite the funeral expenses for her beloved. The services are tentatively planned for Saturday, September 27, 2014, and we will notify you of additional service details as they unfold.
We are soliciting donations to help offset the funeral expenses for June. PLEASE consider making a donation so that we can offer June a funeral service worthy of one who has historically blessed a multitude of people. Two donation options are available to you:
