Help me save Odin

I am Odin's mom and adopted him from a family friend who could not care for him. Odin is only 3 months old and up until now he's been a devilish joy to have around.
Unfortunately, he was taken from his mama and siblings too young and found this out after I adopted him.
He came with full grown worms(eww) , which were completely dealt with over the span of 3 months.
Otherwise my boy has been as healthy as they come.
Almost 2 weeks ago, he started acting different, choking, coughing and not breathing properly.
After a visit to the emergency vet it was determined that Odin suffered from non cardogeniac cardio edema, in other words, fluid in his lungs.
We thought the antibiotics would help, but he is only worsening. He started having seizures over the weekend and after a second visit to the vet and bloodwork, the doctors still don't know what is wrong.
They have referred Odin to a neurologist, thinkng that it might have something to do with his brain.
I have exhausted my savings with only two visits and I am asking for any and all help.
An MRI alone is 3000$$ plus the treatment and medications.
I was told tonight the longer I wait the more distressed he gets. They also said that I cannot put him on steroids and antibiotics if he is to get an MRI- the neurologist won't allow it.
For me, my dogs are everything and I would go to the ends of the earth for them- I have 3.
I plead with you to help me save my baby Odin.

Quick Update: Odin was placed on the anti seizure medication because he was having multiple seizures in a day. He has been on it a month and just ran out. He finally recieved his rabies vaccine. Same day he was on his last pill, I waited to give him that last pill the next morning. Obviously not recommended, but i was picking up his next Rx the following day. In a span of 6 hours, my little man had 3 seizures. It is officially more than what I initially believed, which could have been a parasite. We are still trying to raise to get him to the neurologist.
