Hello everyone. As we know, Dr. Doug Whitten made a lasting impact on everyone he met, all of us, and Pittsburg State University. We in return would like to do the same thing. Out front of Gorilla Village, in front of the gorilla statue, there are bricks in the ground with peoples names on them that have impacted Pitt State. We would like to put down a brick with Doug’s name on it. A big brick costs $400, but if our fundraiser surpasses that amount, any leftover money will go towards Doug’s family to use it towards the memorial or however they see fit.
