Prayers for Paige

On Thursday, July 18 sweet Paige Baird was seriously injured in a fall at her cabin in Cadillac. The severity of her injuries required her to be airlifted to Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. Paige sustained a life threatening fracture to her vertebrate, swelling around the spinal cord, and a contusion on her spinal cord. A two hour surgery was scheduled to place a Halo around her head and neck for support and proper healing of the C2 vertebrate. Although Paige has already overcome so much through her bravery and toughness, there is a long road of recovery to come.

We are asking first and foremost for prayers to Paige and her amazing family, Jason, Sarah, and Emma.  Paige will be spending many weeks/months in the Grand Rapids area healing from her injuries. If you are able to donate, this is also greatly appreciated. The Baird family did not ask for donations, we are simply taking on their role in doing what we know they would do for us.  The money raised will be used for travel, lodging, food, gas etc., all of those unexpected costs that we can help alleviate as Paige is on her road to recovery.

It takes a village to raise a child. Please join our village in helping Paige get back up on her feet as quickly as possible. She is a fighter no doubt!
