Trying to get back to normal.

We were hit by Harvey's flood waters in an area that's not supposed to flood. Our area is in 500 year flood plain. According to our insurance company (last year) we would be fine. Our house is over 10' feet above the street. Needless to say we never should have flooded if our local water district wasn't so concerned about the elite few.Anyway our house has sustained quite a bit of damage due to the flood waters and insurance said sorry y'all, should of had flood insurance. Margie and I are trying to do the best we can in regards to the repairs. I know many people have been affected but if you have it to spare anything helps. Thanks and may God bless you all!
