Amanda's Special Need Recliner Chair

Our Princess Amanda is in need of a new recliner! She was born with an unknown metabolic disorder. At six months her doctors discovered her ammonia level was 3 times the level of an adult. By the time they had made the discovery she had suffered brain damage and muscle damage. As a result she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy , she cannot walk or talk and is legally blind. She has had two back surgeries and four foot surgeries.

Amanda spends her days at school but when she comes home she likes to relax and watch tv. However she has now outgrown her current recliner. We have had to add a pillow so that her head does not hang over the back of the chair. Her insurance will not cover the chair as they cover her wheelchair. The chair must be special ordered and has to be shipped. We have already spoken to the company and received a quote. The chair must be paid in full to be able to place an order.
