Bob (Bizzy) Griggs; devoted father and husband, died suddenly August 18th 2017 in a fatal car cash on his way home from work. We invite you to bless this family and help ease the burden. It's hard to imagine suddenly struck with tradgedy and being responsible for honoring the love of your life while you also continue to provide for your two children unexpectedly on your own. He was a constent for the children Alex and Larkin. He was a dependible partner to Rachel. Sacraficing much to maintain the love and security in the household. This family has been blessed to rely on Bizzy for not only unwavering emotinal stability but also a noticable presence as a father and companion.
You may have been close enough to watch Bizzy and Rachel grow together, their story is a hopeful example of the true strength a bond like they had can give. Rachel describes her life partner as a believer in faith who strided to be a better person always. Honest to a fault, gentle and a true romantic, a work ethic he was the most proud of, finding purpose in providing for his wife and children always to the best of his ability. Bizzy (Bob) secured a job that changed their lives for the better and Rachel could stay home and do what she loved most, raising their children and tend to their home they were so proud to have made unmistakably The Griggs Family home. On the door, a picture hand painted by their 4 year old daughter "Every Family Has A Story Welcome To Ours," written on it comfortable and welcoming also full of a moving and evident love. These two creative individuals thought through even the smallest details of the home together to make it theirs.
Rachel and the Griggs children, Alexandria and Larkin, wish everyone to live every day to the very fullest, and appreciate evey moment. They have endless photos to remember; enough wonderful memories to write a book. Even though their time was interupted with Bizzy as their father; the children have been proudly raised by their parents as a strong team effort cut short far too soon in this sudden tradgedy.
The family would like to acknowledge the tremendous support coming from so many places, with a special shout out to the MC community Bizzy truly enjoyed being a part of. He spent countless hours participating in building a kinship over motorcycles. If you have had the pleasure of being a part of his endless projects you know how dedicated he was to them. Though the world has lost Bizzy Bob Griggs, heaven has gained an angel who believed fully that the kingdom he has found after his time on Earth will be a place he will ride off into serenity forever enjoying Heavely happiness. The family finds comfort knowing he is in a better place and they will see him once again. Honest, faithful, hard working, creative, a fountain of knowledge playing any insturment he picked up or bringing back to life any engine he gathered no matter how much he had to research and teach himself he believed he could so he did.
I'll leave you with Bizzy's favorite quote; "Be the change you want to see in the world." Leaving a legacy behind the perfect example of a life lived true to those words.
