It is with great embarassement that I find myself posting here, I have always been on the other side trying to help others but now find my world crashing down around me! In Jan. 2012 I suffered heart failure, had I not been in the hospital when it happened I would'nt even be here (I was gone for 6.5 minutes) but thanks to the wonderfull people at Beaumont I made it. I now have a implanted defibraltor which made it so I could'nt work with any power tools. I was in the repair/ remodeling bus.
Then in 2013 my wife was in a car accident which has left her with a severe disc problem (which requires surgery) and in constant pain but of course the insurance Co. says she is fine & cut off her medical benefits which we are in process of suing to get re-instated. Another problem my wife has is the "Miniscus" in both her knees is virtually non existent which also is very painful, the knees are basically bone on bone. Let me say, my wife is the most amazing woman I've ever know! She continues to go to work, never complaining & I known she is in agony!
SSI decided I did'nt qualify for disability but gave me a whopping $167.00 a month which they have now stopped since my wife doesnt even make enough to come close to live on.
In June I was diagnosed with CANCER, b-Cell lymphoma with large cell Fluvicular! I will be starting radiation & Chemo treatments this week! As of now I have sold most everything I can and am most likely going to have to sell my 13 yr old van just to pay some bills which leaves me wondering how I will get to my treatments?? Oh i forgot to mention I also have Asthma & Emphazema on top of it all! As well as our house is falling apart which we are unable to repair which is most frustrating since I have the knowledge to do the repairs needed!
I am not asking for the world, all I want is for my wife to be able to not worry so much and maybe be able to spend a day with our adorable 6 yr. old grandson without the worry of taking a day off. She has worked for the same office over 10 years and gets absoluelty NO BENEFITS other than vacation time. She is the only one that has stayed while probably 20 others have come & gone!
If anyone out there can find it in there heart to donate I GIVE MY WORD WHEN i AM ABLE (AFTER THE CHEMO), I WILL PAY IT FORWARD!!! I have always done so in the past & hope to continue to do so with the grace of God I make it through all this! If you can't donate, just think of us & if yo are a believer, say a prayer! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts !
