<div>I moved to the UK from Sri Lanka, which was a big change in my life. Settling into a new place was not always easy, but Scouts helped me find my feet. It gave me a sense of routine, helped me meet new people, and made me feel part of a community.

<div>Over the past few years, Scouts has become a big part of my life. It has helped me build confidence, learn new skills, and take on challenges through camps and team activities.

<div>I’ve now been given the opportunity to attend the World Scout Jamboree. This event takes place every four years and brings together Scouts from all over the world. It is a chance to experience different cultures, take part in activities, and build friendships with people from different countries. Being selected is something I am proud of, and I want to make the most of it.

<div>The total cost covers travel, accommodation, food, and all event activities. I am already working on fundraising, but I still need support to reach the full amount.
