Brittany and Her Brain Surgeries

My friend Brittany had a terrible car crash on i75. Her car rolled three times and ended up half way into the canal, upside down, on her way home from work. After the year her family had, we never suspected something more to happen. She was wearing her seatbelt, thank God (picture below). The last thing she remembers is looking over and seeing someone texting, about to swerve into her car. She cut her steering wheel left, which made her roll. She does not remember that part, thank goodness.
She was in ICU/SICU for 6 days. She had a terrible brain bleed which we learned was getting larger and actually led to brain surgery. Brittany had to have a craniotomy (the surgical removal of part of the bone from the skull to expose the brain. Specialized tools are used to remove the section of bone called the bone flap. The bone flap is temporarily removed, then replaced after the brain surgery has been performed.). She will be uncomfortable for a while. All of this came about after she started feeling funny and kept getting confused. She couldn't even find the silverware in her own house.
She was working as a nanny. That's how we met over a year ago. Now, just as we think she is in the clear and healing after her surgery she had to go back to the doctor because her head didn't feel right. The doctor told her to go straight to the ER for a CAT scan. This is when she found out that her craniotomy hadn't gone exactly as planned and she had developed an infection. So, they had to go in again for the second craniotomy to remove the plates and try to rid the infection. They sealed her up tighter this time, but now she is attached to an IV 24/7 for the next 4-8 weeks which deliver the strongest dose of antibiotics.
The medical bills, insurance, and no nanny income Is more than a lot. Below are pictures of the accident.
