My Birthday fundraiser For a Family in Need!

Donation protected
Hey guys it's time I share with you the reason I started up my Facebook account. I need your help to rally around a local family and restaurant in dire need. Its a family owned restaurant here in my little town Oakley called Bistro Punahele Tonnelier. To me it's "The Bistro" and I've been a regular there since they opened up in 2017.   They had been thriving and doing quite well up until COVID.   The owners are French chef Stephan Tonnelier and his beautiful Hawaiian wife Sydney with their two boys.  This family is kind, creative and incredibly talented. They have enriched our community greatly but now need our help.
Their food is a farm to table fresh fusion of French and Hawaiian flavors packaged in a rustic restored historical building on Main Street  in down town Oakley. I love and delight in their yummy Loco Moco dish along with my daughter Marlayna and my youngest daughter Alize is hooked on the French toast  with fresh whip cream

Last  Friday I went down to the bistro like always but for take out  because of the new restrictions.  After Stephan and Sydney came out of pocket to get the outdoor dining fully set up they now can't use it.   I walk up to get my order on the heels of Sydney in tears.  She shared with me the desperate situation they are in.  There is no government assistance in sight and they have used up their reserves to survive these last several months.  They are on the verge of loosing their livelihood with everything they worked so hard to create for us.  The Oakley community stands to lose something very special too!

Guys this breaks my heart to see this family suffering and I feel the need to do something and can with your help.  If you've been wanting to eat there but haven't , please do so! Purchase  a gift certificate  as a Christmas gift or please donate to this GoFundMe account if you can and I will get all the donations to them.   Maybe WE can help others in need like them next.  Let us put Christ back in Christmas!  No...let us put Christ back in EVERYTHING the enemy has removed Him from.  The donations are needed for building rent etc.  Hopefully this buys them time to get to the other side of this and back up on their feet.  I pray the Lord puts it on your heart to bless this family and may you be blessed 10 fold.  I will put the links below to their website and story.  Thank you and let us know if you or someone else you know needs the same kind of love.  Also I will keep you posted on their soon to be success story.

I have to share one more thing with you. I love the history and character  of
this charming old restored building the Bistro Punahele is in.  Lately I have been digging up local images and stories of the past to incorporate in my living space at home.  I love a rustic look in my home decorations.  I've lived in Oakley since 1969 and was amazed to find this stuff and so excited to use it. Thought you would enjoy it as well.   Here's water your horse photo at the current day
Sweeney's Bar & Grill, the historical John Marsh House on Marsh Creek Rd. and
some Oakley pictures.  So cool!
