As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first gay pride in the UK, can you help us make history repeat itself?
In Nigeria, pride happens only in the mind of LGBTQI people who only dare to dream, but we want to change that, and we need your help.
Being LGBTQI in Nigeria is a crime. While many LGBTQI people have been so bold in living their lives expressively, they have had to pay for it dearly.
At the Bisi Alimi Foundation , our passion is to accelerate the social acceptance of LGBTQI people because we believe some history is worth repeating.
This pride month we are asking you to join us in making proactive impact in the lives of LGBTQI Nigerians by donating to the work we do.
Since our inception in 2016, we have been working hard to make sure no LGBTQI person is left behind. Through our Rainbow Academy programme, we have trained 40 LGBTQI people in leadership, mental health, law, communication, and entrepreneurship.
This year, we gave 5 small LGBTQI businesses seed grants to take their businesses to the next level. We want to train more LGBTQI people. We want to invest more in LGBTQI businesses, we want to repeat history of pride that starts from within, and we need your support.
With £10/$10/10€, you will help us to reach 5 LGBTQI persons across Nigeria a week with professional and personal development webinar.
Recruit 1 LGBTQI persons for our Rainbow Academy program and invest in 2 LGBTQI businesses. This will help them to be self aware of who they are, their PRIDE and the impact they can make in their personal and professional lives.
