Those of you that know me well know that my best friend is a pup named Bishop. Out of all the pups I've ever met, none have my heart quite like this good boy.

A couple of weeks ago I took Bishop to my vet because he couldn't put weight on his right hind leg. Being the big doofus that he is, I figured right away that he tore his ACL. After dropping a couple of hundred dollars at the vet I was told exactly that.

Today I took Bishop in for a consult at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (PVSEC), and I was advised that the best option for Bishop is to have surgery on his leg. I was told that the TPLO surgery is the best option for him considering his size, which happens to be the most expensive (but best!) operation for a torn ACL.

I've never made one of these pages before, but I'm hopeful that my fellow dog lovers and friends will support us. Any contribution, big or small, would be helpful. And to show you how grateful he is, Bishop would like to let you rub his belly when he is feeling better.
