Birthday Fundraiser for Community Care

Hi Everyone!

For my birthday this year I’d like to raise funds for groups/organizations that advocate for the justice and wellbeing of community.

Originally I set this up as a Facebook fundraiser, however due to technical limitations I was not able to publish it. Alternatively, I’ve set up my birthday fundraiser on GoFundMe, which hopefully makes it much more accessible! 

For this year’s fundraiser, I’m raising money to support:

—Encampment Support Network (ESN)

— Butterfly 

— Children’s Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines  (CRC) 
(Thank you to PATAC - Philippine Advancement Through Arts and Culture, for introducing me to this organization!)

All funds will go directly to the groups above. Right now I've set the goal to $600, as my aim is to be able to donate at least $200 to each group. 

I will also share transparency reports to keep everyone in the loop as to the final amount raised and fund allocations.

Your donation, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated!

If you do not have the financial means to donate at this time, no worries! I encourage you to continue to support local and global community led activist groups/organizations, by following them, engaging in and sharing their advocacy work (signing petitions, writing to and calling government officials, etc), attending their events, and more.

Though my actual birthday is on March 28, I will be keeping this fundraise open until April 28.
