Birds for the Elderly - restock!

Hi Reader! If you remember, about 3 years ago, my daughter Joie raised funds for an aviary for the Christian Community home of Osceola. She continues to tend it and supplies the feed and other needs, free of charge. The residents of the home enjoy the birds very much! The Aviary brings a lot of joy to residents and staff as well! We are currently down to just 4 birds however, and its getting pretty lonely in the aviary! So we’ve selected a pair of canaries to add to the ‘flock’. These are really colorful and will bring the melodic tones of the famous canary’s song to the community! Joie and I are pretty excited to make this addition...however canaries cost a bit more than a little finch. So once again we are hoping to raise the funds for this purchase. The pair we’ve selected has been raised locally and will cost $140. If just 28 people contribute $5 (or alternately 14 people contribute $10) in the next 24 hours, we’d meet the goal and be able to place the birds into the aviary this weekend!
