Birdie's Nasal Needs

Tax deductible
Birdie is in desperate need of help for her nasal issues! This poor girl has had a tough start to life, and we want to make sure she is able to live comfortably.  We received an estimate for her care between $600-$1000, depending on if it is a nasal polyp that needs removal, or there is no polyp and we would have to do further testing at the vet.

From Birdie's foster:

I first spotted Birdie laying on the side of the road on Oct. 21st and attempted (but failed) to catch her, but it was clear immediately that she was very sick. It took a few weeks to track her down but we successfully trapped her on Nov. 10th. It was clear right away that even though this sweet girl had spent her entire life outside, she was incredibly friendly and would be able to enter the foster program. We took her to BARCS but she was too sick to spay.

Since then, she has been slowly getting better at my house. We've done 5 rounds of different antibiotics but she is still severely congested and uncomfortable. Dr. Z at Pikesville Animal Hospital determined he believes it is a nasal polyp and should be removed immediately so this sweet girl can finally get better and find a forever home.

Through all of her discomfort, Birdie continues to be the most snuggly, affectionate three-year-old cat - she absolutely deserves to finally have this medical issue resolved so she can really flourish.
