On January 2nd, 2020 our dear friend Jordan Birchell passed suddenly from a cardiac episode. He was a loving father, husband, friend and human. Anyone who knew Jordan can likely still hear his goofy laugh as if he’s still here with us, telling jokes and living life to the fullest. He was the kind of person who made any moment better, just by his positive spirit and love for life. There are endless memories we all carry with us that can be traced back to Jordan’s smile, laughter and caring spirit. His loving heart spilled out not only to his family and friends but to teachers, coaches, coworkers, strangers and so many more.
Jordan lived a full and happy 29 years of life. His love story began when he met and married his beautiful wife Rachel, who he would lovingly refer to as his better half and his best friend. On October 7th, 2015 Jordan became a father. To see him step so effortlessly into this role was a gift to everyone who knew and loved him. Serena was a perfect baby, the spitting image of her father and he could not be more proud. Then, on August 29th, 2018 baby Shawnee joined the family, handsome as ever, and made their family complete. Jordan was the BEST father and husband.
To Jordan, his family was everything. He worked long, hard hours away from home to provide for his wife and children. There are many ways we can honor Jordan during this difficult time but right now, the most important thing is to make sure that the family he loved and cared for so deeply is well taken care of. There will be a heavy financial burden that Rachel will have to carry in the coming days, months and years after the sudden death of her best friend, the father of her children. If you are able, we humbly ask that you contribute what you can to this beautiful family. All proceeds will go directly to the family.
To a man who brightened every moment, who we’re lucky to have known and who brought nothing but laughter and positivity to the world, you will be endlessly loved and forever missed.
