Blindsided by unexpected medical

Many of you might not know that our son, Trent, has Asperger Syndrome. Recently, he was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Because of the complexity of his symptoms, we have sent him to a residential treatment center so he can get all the help he needs to be successful. Unfortunately, we were not told the center is out of network until the day before he went there. We had already begun receiving bills from in-network expenses but were absolutely blindsided by this new development. Any of you who know me know that it is killing me to ask for help. I feel like I'm putting my son and my family on blast but, I just don't know of any other way to go about this. If you cannot help financially, please consider sharing this so maybe someone who can help will see it.
