BIPOC Community Mural @ Conscious Homestead
The BIPOC Food Sovereignty Program at ShiftMeals is launching a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to support a community-inclusive Juniper Creative Arts mural on the fire oven at Conscious Homestead!
The vision for the mural is rooted in reverence for the land and it's rhythms, seasons, elements and life's inherent diversity that weaves and connects us to one another and all of nature. The fire oven is both the hearth and heart of Conscious Homestead; its walls will serve as the canvas that will artistically represent the Four Directions. The community mural project will be lead by the phenomenal family of artists at Juniper Creative.
We are so excited to be able to co-create this meaningful piece of art on the homestead as a community. Help us bring this vision to life!
Please, tell your friends, repost on social media, and financially contribute to this initiative to ensure this mural is funded.
Also, make sure to purchase an original Shift Meals hoodie here , designed by our very own BIPOC GrowTeam Arts Coordinator, Jaya Touma-Shoatz! All proceeds will go towards supporting the mural project and sponsoring free hoodies for our BIPOC community members.
