BIPOC Artist Fund - 100 Collective

The BIPOC artist fund is a 100 Collective initiative to provide support to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) artists in  British Columbia via a micro grant program. 

With a lack of gigging opportunities, artists and musicians are struggling now more than ever to make a living and fund their projects.

With this fund, we will issue two micro grants of $1500 to BIPOC artists in BC. We are doing this as a way to support our small community in these trying times so that they are able to continue to create and shape our culture. 

Who would be eligible: 

- Recording artists/ bands/ podcasts with at least 50% of its members identifying as BIPOC
- Residents of BC
- Legal status to reside and work in Canada  

We will be opening grant applications in the month of July and will disperse the funds accordingly. Further details regarding grant application requirements and eligibility will be posted on the 100 Collective website. This fund is intended to go towards the production of a visual or audio project. 

100 Collective, as a community, has always been about showcasing and creating opportunities for artists, but with limited resources there is only so much we can do to give back. In these tumultuous times, there is a significant need to uplift musicians and BIPOC voices. We are asking for your help to do this.
